Terms of Service
Effective June 3, 2026.
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the software and services provided by JH Accounting & Automation LLC (“JHAA,” “we,” “us”). By accessing the service you agree to these Terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization.
1. The service
JHAA provides bookkeeping and operations automation software, including the ability to ingest, organize, reconcile, and report on business and financial data, and to integrate with third-party services a client authorizes.
2. Accounts & access
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity under your account. Access is provisioned by client administrators; you must use it only as authorized.
3. Connected services
By connecting a third-party account (for example, QuickBooks Online, Stripe, GoHighLevel, or Dropbox), you authorize JHAA to access and process data from that service on your behalf to provide the service. Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms. You may disconnect a service at any time.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting to access data you are not authorized to access, interfering with its operation, or using it to violate any law or the terms of a connected service.
5. Your data
As between the parties, client data remains the client’s property. You grant JHAA the limited rights needed to host and process that data to provide the service. Our handling of data is described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Disclaimers
The service supports bookkeeping and operational workflows but is not a substitute for professional accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. You are responsible for reviewing outputs before relying on them.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, JHAA will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or data, arising out of or related to the service.
8. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold JHAA harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms or applicable law.
9. Term & termination
Either party may terminate access in accordance with the applicable client agreement. Upon termination, your right to use the service ends; data handling follows the Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected by the effective date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
